Hope you like our photos of the "simple pleasures" in and around Daytona Beach!

One of our family's simple pleasures would be a day on the intercoastal waterway near Ponce Inlet. What more could you ask for? Beautiful water, warm breezes, clear blue sky and a visit from a group of manatees! A day we'll never forget.

Our simple pleasure happened this past weekend when we took our son and his friend to their first baseball game to see the Daytona Cubs. They were so excited to go to the game and to join the Cubby Crew. The best part was when we walked up we received free tickets from The Fire Sprinkler Man. The boys had so much fun and were very excited to give Cubby a hug and get their picture with him. It was nice to see all of the players greeting the kids and signing autographs for cherished memories. We all had a great time even though it didn't cost very much money. We will be back for sure.

My simple pleasure is to load up the little fur kids and head off to doggie park called, Barkley Square Dog Park in Deland with over 14 acres. It is a very nice park and the little fur kids have a ball running around with all their friends. The park is open every day from sunrise to sunset with free admission. They have training events as well as places where you can put your dog in time out for bad behavior if needed. Imagine that. Mine will put their ears back and walk real slow if they even see me heading that direction. Mine like to show off in front of all the others. After a long day and totally exhausted, a drink from the pond will do and then off to the back seat to call it a day. After arriving home, it's sweet dreams.

I simply enjoy going to the races at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida with my family during February and July. With the July race coming soon, I can't wait to see my favorite drivers at the track. My dad packs a cooler with snacks and drinks and my mom packs a backpack with everything else we need. I always enjoy taking pictures of the Simple Pleasures in life, which especially include my family.
Thank you Daytona Beach!

Daytona Beach has many things to offer from its sandy beaches to the scenic routes in Volusia County. The passion that I enjoy is right in my own backyard at Daytona International Speedway. There is always something taking place year round at this facility. This is a picture of my son and I enjoying the Simple Pleasures of a speed event held at the track.
